Mad about Metallic

When I went shopping in the states, I found the most gorgeous metallic soft gold body con dress. I instantly fell in love with it.

So of course I had to have it, but sadly its been sitting in my closet starring at me while I wait for the right occasion to arise. Now that metallic is huge I'm starting to realise how on "trend" it actually is and of ways to dress it down for a more casual weekend look.

I love the whole metallic trend and can't wait to wear my dress, but if you are a bit scared of over doing it and looking like a roll of tinfoil, here are a few subtle ways you can wear the trend ;)

Bright White

The new IT look for your nails this summer is plain white nails. Whether it has a gloss or a matte finish, white nails are very "in". Preppy Peplum

I just love this little peplum top I found at Mr Price yesterday for only R70. It is so versatile, you can dress it up with a pencil skirt and heels for a smarter look or dress it down with jeans like I have. I am dying to wear it with a pop of colour too.
